GOP Congressional Candidte and Voter Town Hall

February 24, 2026 / NWOCC / Uncategorized

Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition presents

GOP Congressional Candidate and Voter Town Hall

6:30-8:30PM  THURSDAY MARCH 26, 2026

SCHALLER MEMORIAL HALL

130 W. INDIANA AVE.

PERRYSBURG, OH 43551

Unlike other town halls, this event will give voters the opportunity to tell GOP candidates for the 9th District US House what they think are the most important issues facing our country. The five GOP candidates have all been invited to attend.

·      Anthony Campbell

·      Derek Merrin

·      Alea Nadeem

·      Madison Sheahan

·      Josh Williams

For the first part of the event, the candidates will sit and listen to voters. Voters will be asked, if they wish, to give a less than one minute summary of their concerns. Each attendee (voters and candidates) will be asked to complete a written survey, ranking the following issues:

·      The Economy – inflation, affordable housing/food, taxes, Federal debt

·      Social Issues – abortion, diversity/equity/inclusion, education, gender issues

·      Security – border/illegal immigration, foreign aid, military funding and involvement overseas

·      Constitutional Issues – Activist judges, size of government, separation of powers

After the voters get to speak, we will ask the candidates in attendance to BRIEFLY rank the issues and discuss their priorities/qualifications. Voters and candidates are asked not to talk negatively about candidates but speak to the issues. There will be time for voters and candidates to meet and talk after the event. Candidates may bring campaign materials as tables will be provided for their use. Candidates for other local, state and national offices are welcome to attend but will not be given time to speak. To encourage an open and civil dialogue, no recording (audio or video) will be permitted.

This event is free and open to the public. However, as NWOCC is renting the hall, any attendee causing a disruption will be asked to leave. Donations to help defray the costs of the event are appreciated. Online donations can be made to https://www.nwocc.org/contribute/.

Given limited seating, individuals wishing to attend need to pre-register by email, giving names and email addresses of people wanting to attend.
