DATE CHANGE FOR Voter Town Hall to Feb 21 Perrysburg

January 25, 2024 / NWOCC / Uncategorized

DATE CHANGED TO WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 21 DUE TO CONFLICT WITH WOOD COUNTY LINCOLN DAY DINNER

Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition presents

CONSERVATIVE VOTER TOWN HALL

6:30-8:30PM  WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 21, 2024

SCHALLER MEMORIAL HALL

130 W. INDIANA AVE.

PERRYSBURG, OH  43551

Unlike other town halls, this event will give voters the opportunity to tell candidates for office what they think the most important issues are facing our country – locally, nationally and internationally.  Candidates for office are welcome to attend but for the first hour they will sit and listen to voters, who will be asked, if they wish, to give a one minute summary of their concerns.  Each attendee (voters and candidates) will be asked to rank the following issues:

  • The Economy – inflation, taxes, Federal debt, size of government
  • Social Issues- abortion, diversity/equity/inclusion, education, gender issues
  • Security – border/illegal immigration, foreign aid, military funding and involvement overseas

After the voters get to speak, we will ask the candidates in attendance to BRIEFLY rank the issues.  Voters and candidates are asked not to talk negatively about candidates but speak to the issues.  There will be time for voters and candidates to meet and talk after the event.  Candidates may bring campaign materials as tables will be provided for their use.

This event is free and open to the public.  However, as NWOCC is renting the hall, any attendees causing a disruption will be asked to leave.
